Easter

Sorry for the lack of updates. What can I say! I have three kids, two in school, one in two different schools and a wild 3 year old.

Here are some pictures of the girls from Easter. Totally didn't think to get a picture of them on Sunday morning in their dresses. Oh, well. This year they just wore something from last year or something of their older sisters. They looked cute and it didn't cost me a penny! That was the best part!

Mackenzie really got into coloring eggs this year and, amazingly, didn't spill more than a drop or two!

Madison working hard on her design before dying the egg.

The little "egg tongs" worked great for Mackenzie's little hands.

Hard at work!

Easter morning looking for eggs. Is that one I see in the fruit bowl. I am afraid to say that we still have not been able to find two of the eggs the Easter Bunny hid. With the warm weather I am sure we will find them soon! (Don't look at the messy counters!)

This is the wild hair that greets me every morning! She was so happy to find an egg!

Florida Part 4 - Kennedy's pictures

Kennedy is turning into a great photographer! She was always grabbing my camera and taking pictures. Here were some of the pictures she liked best. Sorry, but she couldn't narrow down the sunset pictures. Apparently she takes after her Mom, as proven in the previous posts!

One morning when Kennedy woke up and went outside there was this duck sitting in the tree at Gramma and Papa's.

Each night as we sat in the dining room and had dinner this is what we got to look out upon. It was absolutely gorgeous.

Florida Part 3 - More Fun in Florida

Mackenzie loved helping Gramma cook!

Here is Mackenzie getting ready to get on the boat and head out to do some tubing. She was the bravest of the girls. The other two wouldn't do it. They knew there were alligators in the lake and thought we were crazy. I assure everyone that the tube we bought was one that you cannot tip over. Trust me, Greg has tried many times. I will post some of the video once I look it over. Not sure how well it turned out.

Early morning reading. In an attempt to keep Mackenzie, our early riser quite we would go outside by the pool. One of her favorite things to do was read books.

Reading some more, this time with Gramma.

Florida Part 2 - Fun in the Pool

Here are some pictures, OK, a lot of pictures of the girls having fun in Gramma and Papa's pool. I think they went in at least three times each day and were in for a couple of hours each time. I am not sure, but I think I saw some gills starting to grow on Kennedy and Madison.
(Sorry about the formatting. I have to stop trying to type next to the pictures.)

Group shot in the matching swim suits. I can't believe Kennedy though it was cool. I thought she would be too old for the matching thing.

Greg pushing Kennedy into the water. Can you hear the shrieking?

Mackenzie and her Daddy!

A big squeeze.

That top step was Mackenzie's favorite spot. She was too scared to go much further into the water without us holding her.

Nap time for Madison.

After much encouragement, Papa got Mackenzie to release her death grip on him and actually use the life jacket to help her float. Once she did it she had lots of fun.

Tough Girl!

Blowing bubbles in the water.

Mackenzie was a great swim teacher. I think I am going to sign her up to teach lessons at the pool where we go! She really wishes she could. Maybe in a few years.

Madison and either Sarah or Rachel. Gramma and Papa have some friends who have twin 6 year old girls. They came over a couple of times to swim with Madison. She loved having them over and they quickly became friends.

Our sweetheart, Kennedy!

Kennedy loves to practice diving. She is very good too!

All I can say here is, "Isn't she cute"?

It's not easy to see in this picture, but Kennedy and Madison are pretending to be fountains. They both have water coming out of their mouths.

Florida Part 1 - Time with Great Grandma

Sorry for not updating in so long. This has been a hard winter for sickness. The girls are not usually that sick but this winter they all caught everything. We had colds, flu, bronchitis, ear infections, you name it we had it, even something we don't know what they were! But, with the winter we have had it is hardly surprising. Hopefully we will have some warm weather coming and it will all be behind us. Of course, the 6 inches of snow we got over the weekend was not a nice way to welcome in Spring.

Enough of that though. Spring break took us to Florida to spend time with Greg's family. We spent the first couple of days in Naples with his Grandma and Aunt Deb who was in town from California.

Greg, Mackenzie and Great Grandma at the Naples Pier.

Lot of dolphins to see so the girls were thrilled.

Mackenzie loved playing in the sand on the beach.

Madison in the Gulf.

Mackenzie running on the beach.

Running hand in hand into the water.

Mackenzie thought it was too cold though, so it was short lived for her.

Always a ham!

Mackenzie and Great Grandma.

Group shot at the pier.

Picking oranges at Great Grandma's. Soon after this they became fresh OJ.

Believe it or not she drank the entire glass. To bad it was right before bedtime.

I love this picture. Great Grandma and the girls!

Aunt Deb got back from her morning walk just before we left so we were able to get her in some of the pictures.

Madison loved Aunt Deb.

Mackenzie had to get a squeeze in too!

Great Grandma, Kennedy and Aunt Deb.

Kennedy and Great Grandma. Another great picture.
